At Security Direct, we provide two different types of high-speed doors, including high-speed roller shutters and high-speed curtains.
High-speed roller shutters
High Speed Roller Shutters provide insulation and security. Using an Insulated Steel Lath with the option of having rows of windows to allow vision for pedestrians and vehicles. The shutters come galvanised finish as standard but can be Powder Coated any BS or RAL colour to match your colour scheme.
High-speed curtains
High Speed Curtains use a fabric curtain, so doesn't provide security. The advantage of the curtain is it uses a smaller box and operates quicker than a high-speed roller shutter. Vision panels can be fitted with the curtain to provide a vision for pedestrian and vehicle traffic. There is the option of having a self-repair system, so if a forklift hits the curtain, it will reset itself within the guide rails. The curtains are available in a range of standard colours.
The High-Speed Industrial Doors are only available with 3 Phase Direct Drive motors. The motors have been specially designed for High Usage and to run at high RPM. We also have a large of controls and sensors, for example, Radar Sensors for Forklift Traffic, Traffic Lights and Safety devices.
