The RA802 Aluminium Roller Shutter is our highest-rated aluminium shutter. It is certified by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB), tested to LPS1175 SR2 and has Secured by Design status. Its solid, double-skinned laths give no view in, making it ideal for high-value shops, commercial units and premises where insurers ask for certified security.

Want people to see your display? Choose the Punched Aluminium LPS1175 Level 2, which has polycarbonate vision inserts. For lower-risk sites, see our Compact Aluminium LPS1175 Level 1 or browse all security rated roller shutters.

Product Overview

• Independently certified: the LPCB has tested it against a sustained attack, so its SR2 rating is proven, not claimed.
• A rigid curtain: double-skinned extruded aluminium laths resist forcing and bending.
• Protected fixings: fitted on the inside of the opening, so attackers can't reach the guides or box.
• Total privacy: the solid curtain hides stock and display when you're closed.

Design & Customisation

To keep its LPS1175 SR2 certification, the RA802 is built to one tested specification. You choose the colour and controls.

• Laths: 77mm solid, double-skinned extruded aluminium. Punched vision laths can be added for partial vision; see the Punched SR2 listing.
• Controls: internal rocker switch or external key switch as standard. Remote, group and mobile phone control available.
• Manual override: manual override and crank handle available at extra cost.
• Colours: White or Brown as standard. Any RAL or BS colour at extra cost. See our colour chart.

Delivery & Installation

Supply only: Manufacture 4–5 weeks, as each shutter is built to its tested specification. Custom colours may take a little longer.

Supply and installation: Up to 5–7 weeks. We survey the opening, confirm the fixing position, then manufacture and install.

To keep its SR2 rating, the shutter must be face fixed inside the opening using the approved fixings and instructions supplied. We recommend professional installation.

Pricing & Budget Guide

Prices from £1,041 (supply only)

Every RA802 is made to measure. The from-price is for a 1m x 1m overall size, supplied only, in White or Brown.

What affects your price

• Size: larger openings need more laths and a bigger box.
• Controls: remote, group and mobile phone control cost more than the standard switch.
• Manual override: the override and crank handle are an extra.
• Colour: White and Brown are standard; any other RAL or BS colour costs more.
• Installation: internal fixing, access and the structure around the opening.

Why pay for certification? An SR2 shutter has been independently attack tested, which some insurers ask for. Uncertified shutters cost less but carry no tested rating.
