Although physical security firms are not measured, as such by a governing body, to be an official construction company they should be a CIS Member. CIS is ran by HMRC and is a good indication as to whether the firm you're dealing with is authentic. If they aren't paying their taxes correctly, the chances are they could be short changing their customers too - or worse!
