How Does an Industrial Fire Shutter Operate During a Fire?

During normal use, the shutter operates using its powered motor and controls.

In a fire condition, the shutter can be configured to receive a signal from the building's fire-alarm system or respond through the specified thermal activation arrangement.

The shutter then closes in a controlled manner to protect the compartment opening. Audio-visual warning can alert people before movement begins, while the specified release and control system manages the closing sequence.
