Fire Safety

• Certified Fire Protection: Independently tested to BS EN 476-22 and BS EN 1634, offering 60, 120, or 240 minutes of fire containment
• Fusible Link Mechanism: Melts at 67°C, automatically closing the shutter in the event of a fire, even if there is no power supply
• Solenoid Release Integration: Allows connection to fire alarm systems for automatic descent upon alarm activation
• Guide Channels for Fire Sealing: 50mm and 65mm galvanised U-channel guides create a tight seal to help control the spread of smoke and flame
• Structural Compatibility: Can be mounted to masonry, concrete, or protected structural steelwork, supporting diverse fire safety designs.

Operation & Controls

•    Industrial-Grade Motors: Available in both Single Phase (240V) and Three Phase (415V) configurations.
• Integrated Control System: Includes push button controls, fusible link, solenoid release, and manual chain override.
• Fire Alarm Connectivity: Compatible with interface panels for automatic descent during fire alarm activation
• Fail-Safe Operation: Will still operate via fusible link even in the absence of power supply.
   

Installation & Warranty

•    Made-to-Measure Production: Each shutter is custom-built to fit the intended opening and site dimensions.
• Flexible Fixing Options: Can be installed using Face Fix or Reveal Fix with standard guide channels from 50mm to 65mm (see page 5 diagrams)
• Compatible with Multiple Structural Supports: Suitable for fitting to masonry, concrete, and protected structural steelwork, ensuring wide applicability in industrial construction settings.
• Support Frame Option: Required for oversized shutters to maintain structural integrity.
