The RS7501 High Security Metal Roller Shutter is based on the Commercial Metal Shutter with some added security features and is ideal where a higher level of security is required. It uses the galvanised steel curtain, Box and Guides. The 75mm curved steel laths, are available in Solid or Perforated (18% Vision). Independently Tested by the LPCB to LPS1175 Security Rating Level 1 - Certified for Installation Internally. This is a Secured By Design product, which is a Police and Insurance preferred specification.
The High Security Metal Roller Shutter is available Manual Operation, but due to the heavy laths, it is normally Electrically operated. To achieve the SR1 rating, the electric operation comes with a Manual Bottom Lath Lock for additional security. Why not automate the shutter, to make daily operation easier and you can incorporate your shutters into a fully automation system, including Timers, Remote Control Systems and Smart Hubs eg; Alexa.
The High Security metal roller shutters are Galvanised or Powder Coated in White, Brown, Black or Cream as standard. The shutters can be Powder Coated any BS or RAL colour to match your colour scheme.
Curtain
Single skin 76mm (3'') curved steel slat. Wall thickness 0.7mm,0.9mm,
or 1.2mm, depending on overall shutter opening width. Solid laths are
standard with the option
of Perforated (18% Vision) and Punched (25% Vision) at an additional cost.
Bottom Slat
Galvanised steel ’T’ shaped bottom rail is provided as standard. The option of an “L” is available when face fixing or need to miss a door handle on one side of the opening. Both the “T” rail and “L” Rail are available with a Rubber Bottom Seal and Safety Edge at an additional cost
Shutter Box
Galvanised steel casing & end plates as standard. For external installation or for covering up the roller shutter mechanism, there is the optional fascia and hood at an extra cost. Galvanised finish as standard, powder coating available at an additional cost.
Guide Rails
Galvanised steel “U” channel guides.
The guide size varies dependent on application/size, either 50mm, 65mm
or 100mm. Windlocking guides available for added security or windy
locations. Guide channels are bolted onto angle or box section,
depending on the application. Galvanised finish as standard.
Colours
The standard finish is Galvanised finish. It can be powder coated any BS or RAL colour.
