With no floor tracks required, the lightweight Perforated Sliding Shutters are suspended from a continuous overhead track and are manually operated in a slide-aside action. They do not require removable mullions or fixed posts as all components, including locking mechanisms, are integral. The Sliding Shutters are ideal when there is not enough headroom for a roller shutter. The Brickbond Internal Sliding Security Shutter is that they can cover widths up to 80m wide and they can go around 45 and 90 degrees curves.
The Brickbond Internal Sliding Security Shutters are made up of Tube and Links, which provides 80% Vision and medium security. The Sliding Shutter is available in 3 other designs; Solid, Perforated and Poly-carbonate.
The Brickbond Internal Sliding Security Shutter comes in Anodised Silver as standard. Due to the Tube & Links, this product cannot be powder coated.
The top and bottom of each panel section is fitted with a 102mm high aluminium panel. This panel consists of an aluminium extrusion 2mm thick. It is connected into extruded hinge cleats with a 15° off set to facilitate folding. The curtain is constructed from 12mm aluminium tubes centred on a solid core which are connected across their span via 230mm decorative plates. The checker plate pattern is created by alternating the plates and spaces. PLEASE NOTE – these are open grilles and can be accessible by arm/ hands.
Stacking
Allow 95mm per linear metre of Concept 33, 66, 99 and 1212 Sliding Shutter, then add 76mm for each post member (lead, intermediate or end posts). Approximates to about 15% of Concept 33, 66, 99 and 1212 Sliding Shutter length.
