Security Features

•    Constructed from durable galvanised steel, offering solid physical security for internal applications such as kitchen serveries, reception counters, and store rooms.
• Reinforced with galvanised steel "T" bottom rails and U-shaped guide channels (65mm, 75mm or 100mm), ensuring secure engagement and stability when deployed
• Uses a Single Phase Tube Motor, which is enclosed and inaccessible, reducing tampering risk.
   

Safety Features

•  Fully tested and certified to BS EN 16034:2014 and CE Marked to BS EN 13241-1:2003, meeting European standards for fire safety
• Available with 30, 60, 120, and 240-minute fire ratings, ensuring compliance with building regulations and compartmentation requirements.
• Curtain is built from single skin 75mm curved steel slats, available in 0.7mm, 0.9mm, or 1.2mm thickness depending on the fire rating and dimensions
• Designed to provide safe operation in emergency conditions with:
  • Fully automated fire-closing mechanism
  • Battery Backup to enable closure during power loss
  • Manual override for emergency use

Fire Safety

•    Certified to BS EN 16034:2014, tested in accordance with stringent fire resistance standards.
• Substrate Requirements for proper certification and installation:
  •     Masonry: Must have a minimum density of 1600 kg/m³ and a minimum thickness of 102.5mm.
  •     Structural Steel: Must have an A/V ratio below 230 m⁻¹, calculated as per EN 13381-4 and EN 13381, and must be fire-protected on all four sides with proven test compliance to EN 13381.
• Engineered for dependable deployment in real fire events, with curtain weight of approx. 12kg/m², providing consistent descent and fire containment over the rated period

Operation & Controls

•    Motorised operation via Single Phase Tube Motor only.
• Supplied with a basic open/close switch as standard.
• Compatible with a variety of fire automation and fail-safe features, including:
  •     Fire alarm integration
  •     Battery backup
  •     Audio/Visual panels
  •     Emergency override and release switches
  •     Staged Descent for controlled fire response

Installation & Warranty

•    Made-to-measure and suitable for openings up to 6m wide and 4.8m high.
• Compatible with both face fix and reveal fix installations, supported by detailed technical drawings and plate sizing charts.
• Built for long-term durability with standard warranties (custom terms may apply upon registration).
