The RA4 Roller Shutter is one of our most popular roller shutters, as it uses a compact shutter box and guides, providing a neat solution. It also provides a high level of security, using a Twin Walled aluminium laths. Ideal for Residential, Commercial, Retail, Bars and Serveries where headroom is limited. The compact aluminium roller shutter is also available with Perforated 22% Vision and Punched Laths 44% Vision, at an additional cost.
The Compact Aluminium Roller Shutter is available Manual Operation - Belt Winder, Rod Crank and Spring and Lock. Why not automate the shutter, to make daily operation easier and you can incorporate your shutters into a fully automation system, including Timers, Remote Control Systems and Home Hubs eg; Alexa.
The Compact Aluminium Roller Shutter comes powder coated as standard in White, Brown, Black or Cream as standard. The shutter can be Powder Coated any BS or RAL colour to match your colour
Curtain Slat
RA4 Compact Aluminium roller shutters uses a double skin extruded aluminium slat.
Bottom Slat
Extruded aluminium with rubber bottom seal. Reinforcing handle option (AEGR) or reinforcing handle & rubber option available at at extra cost. This bottom slat features a top quirk which can be removed and turned around in the event that the bottom slat lock needs to face the other way.
Shutter Box
Die cast aluminium end plates with two piece roll formed aluminium box. Larger sizes will be supplied with zinc plated steel end plates.
Guide Rails
Extruded aluminium with box section for fixing/reinforcement and high density 5 mm pile brush seals. H30 guide profile as standard, H17 and H25 are available on request and H40/S is available at extra cost.
Colours
The standard colours for our Compact Aluminium Roller Shutters are White (RAL 9016), Cream (RAL 1015), Brown (RAL 8014), and Black (RAL 9005).
We also offer powder coating in a wider range of colours, categorised as follows:
Band A – Popular colours we regularly stock. These incur a small additional cost.
Band B – Less common colours we may have in stock. These come with a slightly higher additional cost.
Band C – Special order colours not typically stocked but available quickly without affecting lead times. These colours are priced at a premium.
In addition, we can powder coat shutters in any BS or RAL colour. These are quoted on a Price Per Application basis and may extend lead times slightly.
