Window Safety Bars

The Window Safety Bars are purpose-designed to prevent children or vulnerable individuals from falling through low-level windows. Installed internally, these robust safety barriers provide peace of mind in residential, educational, healthcare, and care home environments where window safety is paramount.

The system can be fitted across the window opening or within the recess, and is available as either a fixed or removable design. The removable option allows easy access for cleaning and maintenance, while the fixed model offers enhanced security.

Design & Compliance

The Window Safety Bars are carefully engineered to comply with:

• Part K2 of the Building Regulations 2000, ensuring protection against falls
• BS 6180:1999 for barrier design and construction
• BS EN 1930:2000, with reduced bar spacing to prevent head entrapment

For additional safety, the vertical bars are closely spaced, ensuring children cannot place their head or limbs between them.

Construction & Infill

Each safety barrier is manufactured using 12mm round vertical steel bars, precision-welded into a durable steel frame.
