The Insulated Steel Roller Shutters Doors are ideal when you need Heat or Sound Insulation. The laths are manufactured using a Twin Walled steel salts, with a foam insulation between the skins. The insulated laths provide a higher level of security and provide an insulation value.
Available in 3 sizes of slat;
The Insulated Steel Roller Shutter Doors come with a range of motors depending on the size of the opening. The 77mm slat is available with a tube motor, which is neatly fitted inside the barrel, which the curtain wraps around. We use a high quality 240V tubular motor, which comes with a 5 years parts warranty. These motors are designed for a few operations per day. We then have a range of 240V and 415V Industrial Motors which are heavier duty and provide more operations per day.
The Insulated Industrial Roller Shutter Doors comes Galvanised Finish as standard. The shutters can be Powder Coated any BS or RAL colour to match your colour scheme.
Curtain Slat
The Galvanised Steel Laths are Double skin, Insulated for Heat and Sound Insulation. Punched Window Laths are an additional cost. Galvanised finish as standard, powder coating available at an additional cost.

Shutter Box
Galvanised steel casing & end plates as standard. For external installation or for covering up the roller shutter mechanism, there is the optional fascia and hood at an extra cost.
Guide Rails
Insulated Industrial Roller Shutter Guides are supplied with galvanised steel guide angle as standard. The angle can be inset or outset if preferred, this must be clearly stated on your order. The thickness of angle varies as below;

Colours
The standard finish for our Insulated Industrial Shutters is Galvanised finish.
We also offer powder coating in a wider range of colours, categorised as follows:
Band A – Popular colours we regularly stock. These incur a small additional cost.
Band B – Less common colours we may have in stock. These come with a slightly higher additional cost.
Band C – Special order colours not typically stocked but available quickly without affecting lead times. These colours are priced at a premium.
In addition, we can powder coat shutters in any BS or RAL colour. These are quoted on a Price Per Application basis and may extend lead times slightly.
