The RA8 Punched Aluminum Roller Shutters comes with a Punched curtain that can provide up to 58% vision and span openings up to 6m. The punched laths can be used with Solid Laths or Polycarbonate Inserts to provide a high level of security. Ideal for offices, shop fronts, showrooms or where vision and security is a requirement.
The RA8 Punched Aluminum Roller Shutter is available Manual Operation, but due to the large openings it covers, it is normally Electrically operated. Why not automate the shutter, to make daily operation easier and you can incorporate your shutters into a full automation system, including Timers, Remote Control Systems, and Home Hubs eg; Alexa.
The Punched Aluminium Roller Shutter comes powder coated as standard in White, Brown, Black or Cream as standard. The shutter can be Powder Coated any BS or RAL colour to match your colour scheme.
Curtain Slat
The Punched Aluminium Shutter uses a single walled extruded and punched aluminium slat. Solid slats are always used within the shutter box, part of a solid slat may be visible on a completely punched curtain.
Bottom Slat
Extruded aluminium with rubber bottom seal.
Shutter Box
Die cast aluminium end plates with two piece roll formed aluminium box. Larger sizes (shutters with a curtain weight of approx. 75 kg upwards) will be supplied with zinc plated steel end plates.
Guide Rails
Extruded aluminium with box section for fixing/reinforcement and high density 4 mm pile brush seals. UPH250 guides supplied as standard.
Colours
The standard colours for our Punched Aluminium Roller Shutters are White (RAL 9016), Cream (RAL 1015), Brown (RAL 8014), and Black (RAL 9005).
We also offer powder coating in a wider range of colours, categorised as follows:
Band A – Popular colours we regularly stock. These incur a small additional cost.
Band B – Less common colours we may have in stock. These come with a slightly higher additional cost.
Band C – Special order colours not typically stocked but available quickly without affecting lead times. These colours are priced at a premium.
In addition, we can powder coat shutters in any BS or RAL colour. These are quoted on a Price Per Application basis and may extend lead times slightly.
