Window Bars - LPS1175 Security Level 2-4

Our Insurance Approved Window Security Bars provide an exceptional level of protection for both industrial and commercial properties. Independently tested and certified by the Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) to LPS1175 Security Rating Levels 2, 3, and 4, these bars meet the stringent requirements of Secured by Design — the official police security initiative and a preferred specification for insurers.

Engineered for maximum strength and reliability, the bars are constructed from 25mm solid steel infill bars with reduced spacing and additional tie bars, ensuring superior resistance against forced entry.

Design & Operation

The fixed bar design can be face-fixed or reveal-fixed directly to the surrounding brickwork, depending on the installation requirements. Due to the strict installation standards required to maintain certification, we recommend contacting our Sales Team to ensure compliance with the LPCB-approved fixing guidelines.

Colour Options

The Insurance Approved Window Security Bars are Powder Coated in White (RAL 9016) as standard, offering a clean and durable finish.   To suit individual aesthetics, we also offer custom powder coating in any BS or RAL colour at an additional cost.

For external installations, we strongly recommend Hot-Dip Galvanising prior to powder coating to provide maximum corrosion resistance and ensure long-term durability, even in harsh weather conditions.
