Why choose the Lightweight Servery Bar Shutter?
The RA2 is a Lightweight Aluminium Roller Shutter. It's ideal when Security is not the main requirement. The RA2 uses a compact box and guides, providing a neat solution. The 40mm high laths are insulated, providing Insulation and Light control, ideal for residential windows. The Lightweight Shutter is very popular on Kitchen Serveries and Bars, as it provides a visual barrier and closes off the opening from the view of the public.
The Lightweight Aluminium Roller Shutter is available Manual Operation - Belt Winder, Rod Crank and Spring and Lock. Why not automate the shutter, to make daily operation easier and you can incorporate your shutters into a full automation system, including Timers, Remote Control Systems and Home Hubs eg; Alexa.
The Compact Aluminium Roller Shutter comes powder coated as standard in White RAL9016. We do have a range of 20 other colours that are available at an additional cost, but these will increase lead times.
Curtain
The RA2 uses a double skin foam filled aluminium slat, spring and lock operated shutters are supplied non-vented as standard, all other operations are supplied vented as standard but also available non-vented.
Bottom Slat
Extruded aluminium with rubber bottom seal. Reinforcing handle option (AEGR) or reinforcing handle & rubber option at an additional cost. Spring & lock shutters are supplied with a unique, patented, reversible bottom slat. This bottom slat features a top quirk which can be removed and turned around in the event that the bottom slat lock needs to face the other way.’
Shutter Box
Die cast aluminium end plates with two piece roll formed aluminium box.
Guide Rails
Extruded aluminium with box section for fixing/reinforcement and high density 5 mm pile brush seals. H25 guide profile as standard, H17 and H30 are available on request and H40/S is available at extra cost.

We stock the Lightweight roller shutter in White RAL9016. It is available in the following colours at an additional cost and increased lead times.
