At Security Direct, many of our products are available in a range of Banded colours, organised into three colour bands — Band A, Band B, and Band C. This system helps you quickly identify which finishes are readily available and which may require special ordering.
Band A includes our most popular colour choices, which we typically keep in stock in a satin finish.
These colours are commonly selected across our product range and offer excellent value with the fastest lead times.
Band B colours are less common but still widely used. These shades may or may not be in stock, depending on demand.
If a Band B colour isn’t currently available, we can usually source it quickly without affecting your overall lead time.
Band C colours are the least common and are not usually stocked.
These shades are ordered specially for your project, which means they may extend lead times slightly.
They are ideal if you’re looking for a bespoke finish or need to match a specific RAL colour.
Most colours across all bands are supplied in a satin finish as standard. If you require a different finish (such as gloss or matt), please let our team know when requesting your quote.
