Benfit of Product
Permanently fixed clear and see-through window or door Shield. A perfect solution where vandalism could be a problem but the appearance of a mesh grille could spoil the aesthetics of a property. Has the added advantage of providing an effective security barrier. Easy to install, maintenance free and a lower cost option than the alternative - a roller shutter.
Extruded Aluminium frame with Polycarbonate infill
2500 mm - The polycarbonate comes in small sizes, on widths above 1285 mm the Grille will come with a factory fitted joining bar.
Around 15 Kgs per metre square
The polycarbonate is transparent. The frame can be powder coated either Black or White. Other colours are available at extra cost.
4 mm thick Lexan Polycarbonate Shield fitted within an extruded Aluminium frame.
Fixing Directly to the Window - Medium Security
This is where the mesh panel is fixed directly to the window frame, so when the window opens the grille opens with the window. This fixing option is good for vandalism but does not prevent the windows from being forced open.
Fixing into the External Window Recess - High Security
This is where the mesh panel is fixed into the window recess and the brick all around the opening. This fixing option is the most secure but unless you have deep reveals then the windows may not be able to open very far.
Fixing Externally to the face of the Brickwork - High Security
This is where the mesh panel is fixed directly to the external face of the brickwork. This is the most common option as the panels are usually fixed onto Aluminium packers to allow the window to open.
