Why use the Insurance Approved Roller Shutter Level 2 Roller Shutter?

The X902 is a High Security Roller Shutter, Insurance Approved Level 2 Roller Shutter, ideal for higher security applications. The Curtain has a unique Anti Lift mechanism, so it can't be lifted even if it's half open and doesn't require any mechanical locking. Independently Tested by the LPCB to LPS1175 Security Rating Level 2 - Certified for Installation Internal and Externally. This is a Secured By Design product, which is a Police and Insurance preferred specification. Available with Solid Curtain or Fully/Partially Perforated laths to maintain vision without compromising on security.

The X902 High Security Roller Shutter can be electrically operated using either a Single Phase Tube Motor for smaller opening and low usage. For larger openings and higher usage, a Single or 3 Phase Direct Drive motor can be fitted. As standard, the X902 comes Electrically operated with Internal switch operation. Full range of compatible controls including push button switch, key switch, radio control or possible to integrate into building

management systems and third party alarms.

SLATS SPECIFICATION

Description

The X902 is available with Solid or Perforated Laths. The curtain has unique profiles built into the curtain, which prevents the shutter from been lifted in any position, including half closed. The Self Locking Technology means that you don't need any manual or electric locking system.

GUIDES SPECIFICATION

Description

The X902 comes as standard with a Heavy Duty Extruded Aluminum Guide Rail. The standard guide size is 90mm W x 34mm, this may change on larger openings. Powder Coated in a standard BS or RAL Colour.

BOX SPECIFICATION

OPERATION

The X902 Roller Shutters are Electrically Operated using Single (240V) or 3 Phase (415V) motors. This depends on the Size of the opening, the usage the door will be operated and if the shutter is face or reveal fixed.

TUBE MOTOR - The single phase tube motor is concealed within the Shutter Barrel and is ideal when headroom is limited. Only used on smaller openings and applications where the shutter will be operated a few times per day. Available with a Manual Winding Handle.

INDUSTRIAL MOTOR - They can be fitted Inboard Chain Drive, which is used for Reveal Fixing and is only suitable for Medium use. Where possible we use the Direct Drive motors that are bolted onto the endplates. The Direct Drive motors are Heavier Duty, more reliable and operate quicker. As standard, all Industrial Motors come with a Chain Override and Push Button Station. They come with a 1 Year Manufacturer's Warranty.

THREE PHASE (415V) INDUSTRIAL MOTOR OPTIONS

We mainly use GFA motors as they are German made, very reliable and easy to maintain. 3 Phase motors are very Heavy Duty, they allow from 10 to 40 operation per hour and they also operate at a higher speed. As standard, the motors come with a Chain Override and Push button station. We can get a 3 phase motor to suit most requirements, including High Usage and High Speed. All these motors come with a 1 Year Manufacturer Warranty.
