Why use the Gun Room Steel Security Door?

The gun room steel security door meets the minimum Home Office requirements for the storage of guns in a room. It is also tested to LPS 1175 Issue 7 SR4. This is a steel door that is independently attack tested by BRE and is what the Home Office request.

The dorset is attacked with a variety of hand tools for a maximum of 30 minutes, with a maximum working time of 10 minutes. If entry through the door is not gained then the dorset receives the LPS 1175 Issue 7 SR4 level rating.

To meet the required certification the door has to be provided within the scope that has been tested. If the specification you require falls out of the scope, we can still provide a door to the same spec but it will not be certified.

All gun room steel security doors are bespoke and take around 18 - 24 working days to manufacture.
