High Security Insulated Roller Shutter - LPS1175 Security Level 1
Why use the High Security Insulated Roller Shutter?
The RA7701 High Security Insulated Roller Shutter has insulated laths providing Sound and Heat Insulation, with the added benefit of providing a high level of security. Independently Tested by the LPCB to LPS1175 Security Rating Level 1 - Certified for Installation Internally. This is a Secured By Design product, which is a Police and Insurance preferred specification.
The RA7701High Security Insulated Roller Shutter uses a High Security Twin Walled Insulated aluminium laths, held together with a high security webbing. Heavy duty Guide Rails and Steel Endplates with locking device fitted into the endplate. As standard, the RA7701 comes Electrically operated. Why not automate the shutter, to make daily operation easier and you can incorporate your shutters into a full automation system, including Timers, Remote Control Systems, and Home Hubs eg; Alexa.
RA7701 High Security Insulated Roller Shutters are available in a choice of eighteen paint or wood-effect finishes and over forty textured woodgrain finishes.
SLATS SPECIFICATION
Description
High grade corrosion resistant Aluminium with CFC free foam core for thermal insulation and noise reduction. A typical U value for an insulated roller door is 5.2 W/m2K.
BOX SPECIFICATION
Description
Roll formed Aluminium in two sections; top and bottom boxes. Bottom Box removable for installation and maintenance and is chamfered at 45o. For the security rating, the shutter box must be fitted above the opening and behind the lintel.

GUIDE RAIL SPECIFICATION
Description
The Extruded Aluminium Guides with an integral box section provide reinforcement and assist with fixing. High-density 5mm pile brush seals for quiet and smooth operation. 90 mm Guides are used as standard. For the security rating, the guides must be fitted behind the opening and not visible from the outside.
OPERATION
Description
The RA7701 is available electrically operated using a tubular motor inside the barrel.
ELECTRIC - (N.B. minimum shutter width 750mm)
Electric shutters are usually fitted on larger openings where
Manual Operation is not suitable or where the operator
requires an easy, clean and user friendly type of operation.
Single phase tubular motors are enclosed within the barrel
giving full protection from the elements. Electric Roller
Shutters can be controlled individually or grouped to one
controller. The controllers available include internal rocker
switch, security key switch or Remote Control. Manual
overrides are available on Electric Roller Shutters which
allow the shutter to be operated when the power to the
shutter has failed.
The RA7701 comes in the following standard finishes. There are Woodgrain finishes available at an extra cost.
